The FOD2119C provides non-coherent emission in C-band range at 1530-1565 nm. 1mW total optical power - sufficient enough for DWDM component testing in maintenance or service in field or laboratories.
The Source also allows to calibrate Optical Spectroanalizers using gas cells or test Bragg gratings with high reflectivity.
The FOD2119C differs from other handheld Light Sources by very high stability not reachable by Laser Sources as 0.005 dB/hour and very low Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL).
