Dual LD Modules

FOD 3203, 3211, 3212

The FOD 3212A/B are InGaAs/InP high power Dual Laser Diode Modules that provide pulse light output of 60 mW @ 1550 nm and 80 mW @ 850 nm.
Hermetically sealed compact package allows the design of small in size yet powerful in application OTDR with a single output port.
The main application of the FOD 3212 Module is multiwavelength OTDR.


The FOD 3203 Dual Laser Diode Module

The main feature of the Module is possibility to have two wavelengths at one output port in one fiber. This allow to measure fiber parameters at both wavelengths in automatic mode or to use the Module in WDM system.

The Module is based on InGaAsP laser diode and provides a stable, single transverse mode ocsillation with emission wavelengths 1310 nm and 1550 nm, and output power 1 mW.

Fast developing DWDM systems demand special test instruments with special wavelengths.

For testing L band of DWDM system and/or supervision channel we have designed FOD 3211 Dual Laser Diode Module with two wavelengths: 1550 and 1625 nm.

1550 nm wavelength may be used to test main communication channel and 1625 nm wavelength - for supervision channel.
